In most cases it is less expensive and more convenient to purchase from OEM, IF they have them in stock. In many cases the OEM or MTB does NOT have stock and delivery is several weeks out. Almost always, this is unacceptable. In the past, for our service customers, we would research all parts, source and incur numerous next day shipping charges, then build cable. This process would still take 2 - 3 days or more, we would have 8 or more hours into this and still have no resource for the future. Happening all too often we have decided to set up a specific department for cables and have common cables pre-built ready to use and or ship out. |

|
A. |
Typically we will not. Many parts are Fanuc specific and we must purchase from Fanuc ourselves. We maintain a stock and re order when low. Sometimes there is a several week lead time for a connector. If we sell our stock as "parts only" our cable customers may suffer. |

At you request, we can leave one end disassemble and you would have to complete in the field after fishing through wireway. Connector and pin out will be provided. |

A. |
Yes. Although Fanuc and Fanuc controlled machines compromise a bulk of our cable building, we will make cables for Mazak / Mitsubishi, Yasnuc and various MTB specific assemblies such as I/O cables that may be assembled in sealtight with MS connectors at one or both ends. We have limited information on file for non Fanuc cables which does continue to grow. |

On MS style connectors, if you look at the face of the plastic insert you will find a 4 digit number: XX-XX S (for female) or P (for male). The following are valid for motor power (red cap): 18-10S; 22-22S; 24-10S The following are valid for encoder (red cap): 20-29S (Locating notch between pins A and B) 20-29SW (Locating notch between pins K and L) 22-14S |

XX, XY or YY will be specified on connector. It is hard to see. If you cannot see it, refer to the following: XX = Single amplifier or motor "L" XY = Motor "M" YY = Motor "N" Also, on FAN1011 and FAN1012 Power cables, be sure to specify whether or not motor has a brake which would be indicated by 2 additional leads out of the cable inside control cabinet. |

Our stock cables are proven and tested cables built by experienced service engineers. Custom cables will be built to: your print; OEM print provided by you (CAUTION: experience has shown that OEM prints are not always accurate) or, best way, per sample (12" - 18" of each end plus OAL can suffice). Cable assembly WILL be made to print and workmanship is guaranteed one year. |

Once we receive all information needed, we will typically have cable completed within 24 - 48 hours. This is possible thanks to our extensive inventory of cable, connectors, fittings and sealtights. |
